English

Given the dynamic changes in economic environments, especially in the area of financial markets, which are particularly complex, improving the financial knowledge of investors as a subset of financial literacy, seems a necessity so that investors can make decisions that are more informed. This clearly highlights the need for analysis and research in this area and analysis of the issue of financial literacy. Therefore, the main issue in this study is how to measure the financial literacy of micro-investors in Iran? Therefore, the purpose of this study is to determine the factors affecting the level of financial literacy and assess the financial literacy of micro-investors in the capital market in Iran. For this purpose, the native model of financial literacy designed (Asi et al., 2020) is used. In the present study, the quantitative method was used to validate the model, the structural equation modeling method with partial least squares method with PLS software. Checked. The suitability indices of the model indicate the optimal fit of the data with the conceptual model, in other words, the quantitative data fit well with the conceptual model of the research and confirm the qualitative data. The results of hypothesis testing in structural models with Student t test statistics showed that all hypotheses of this study except hypothesis 1-4 (environmental characteristics and demographics affect the financial literacy of micro-investors in the capital market) at the level of 5% probability (distance 95% confidence) is confirmed. In fact, not only Hypothesis 1-4 of this study is confirmed, but also other hypotheses are accepted.
