The behavior of managers that originate from their personal characteristics can influence on their financial performance at the company. Narcissism is one of the personal characteristics. When the amount of Narcissism increases, it can lead to unethical and fraudulent performance. On the other hand, the existence of an effective audit committee as a corporate finance system element can preserve profitability and minimize unexpected events in the company. The effectiveness of the audit committee is related to their financial expertise. In this study, we investigate the role of audit committee financial expertise on the relationship between narcissistic C.E.O. and real earning management. The sample used in this study consisted of 107 Companies which are listed on the Tehran Stock Exchange for 1392 to 1397. By the use of panel data analysis, the results show that audit committee financial expertise does not affect the relationship between narcissistic C.E.O. and real earning management in the patterns of cash flow from the operation, production costs, and discretionary expenses.
